If you follow our Instagram channels you probably caught wind we were out in the desert celebrating the release of Curren Caples first signature shoe release with Vans.
What aptly became known as ‘Currchella’, was a marketing 101 lesson in how to celebrate a pro shoe release.
Upon arrival in Palm Springs, there was an excitement in the air. One that words never truly or adequately described. A certain joie de vivre, one doesn’t commonly find this side of the pond.
In a nutshell, put all your favourite Vans surfers and skaters in one location and let the good times roll. It was only ever gonna go one way.
From poolside drinks to drinks in the wave pool, and that’s before we even made it to the skate obstacle in the desert.
