To be honest, we’d been dreading January 20th this year.

Watching a convicted felon become President again, whilst the world’s richest man threw up an open Nazi salute, not once, but twice yesterday, was pretty harrowing.

Luckily for us all, January 20th was also the date Caity Simmers‘ dropped her latest video edit Blouse. And as expected from Caity and the Toasted team, it’s an absolute doozy.

Self described as a lightweight, decorative surf film made of fine fabric. We’d perhaps call it an instant mini-masterpiece. Impeccably edited and beautifully graded, with some ridiculous surfing on offer, all cut to some great song choices – any video with Cocteau Twins and Locust is an instant win in our eyes.

Directed and edited by Caity and Guilherme Martins, Blouse is another wonderful addition to Simmers’ meteoric video career thus far and a timely reminder that there is still light in this world. Godspeed.
