Oh what joy it brings to wake up on a Monday morning and see the return of Isle Skateboards.

Following a period of uncertainty in which rumours circulated that everyone was jumping ship to an official Atlantic Drift team of sorts; a much anticipated endeavour that never fully materialised due to covid and various complications, Isle have returned with Dreamers.

Featuring the (remaining) usual suspects in the form of Chris Jones, Paul Shier, Sylvain Tognelli, Nick Jensen ands Mike Arnold, the film acts as a collective dream about Kyron Davis becoming the newest edition to the team.

Expertly crafted by James Coyle, who’s work for The Ben Raemers Foundation we wholeheartedly adore, Dreamers retains the early Isle aesthetic we came to love from Jacob Harris, whilst somehow feeling like a fresh start of sorts.

It seems fitting that Al Costello’s The Other Side is the song of choice here too. To quote the lyrics, “I was gone for a while. Thought I’d never see the light again. Now I’m out on the other side”.

Here’s hoping good times are coming.
