New discoveries are always a treat.

Enter Aaron Salazar and his latest work Still Life. A strangely hypnotic 8 minute film produced by Grandma Honey Films, showcasing “portraits of death and the world around you after you take your last breath”.

Shot over 2500 miles in Nevada, Utah, and Idaho, with 12 actors over 7 reels of 35mm in 5 days with 3 crew-members, Still Life acts as a haunting reminder of the fate we all face, simultaneously unsettling, yet humorous at times and beautifully lensed by DP Dustin Lane.
