By now, you would have surely heard about Dark Hollow.
We’ve been anticipating Dion Agius‘ latest Globe full length for months, and after a long wait, the film is finally available for free.
Shot around Dion’s home island of Tasmania and across the world over the past 3 years, the 26-minute piece was co-directed by Joe G, and also features appearances from Dion’s best friends, including Craig Anderson and Chippa Wilson. On top of featuring Dion at the peak of his career, Dark Hollow is without a doubt one of the most visually pleasing surf films in recent years—an absolute must-watch indeed.
Collaterally to the release of the film, we’ve recently released Dark Hollow, the book—a collection of still photography documenting Dion’s time on the road filming for the project. In an increasingly digital world flooded by 15 second IG clips, we wanted to create a tangible, physical celebration of surfing led by amazing photography by Nick Green, John Respondek and Dion Agius.
