Tito Lavole and Jai Walsh are two characters we can’t help but be fond of.
After spending a fairly busy summer flying to Simileu with Afends and transitioning to South Sumatra for an upcoming project with Yentl Touboul, the boys have recently enjoyed some downtime at home, around the peaceful town of Ulladulla on the Australian South Coast.
If you don’t find them refining their upcoming musical venture in Tito’s backyard shed or hanging at the town’s creative hub Blanc Space, chances are that you’ll spot them sending it into the shorebreak at The Hook, as depicted in the video below. If you’re familiar with the pair, you know you can expect everything but polished Malickesque aesthetics; ‘Six Fingers’ features on the opposite some lo-fi aesthetics courtesy of Harry Triglone (check out his new brainchild, Fun Boys 2, now available here) as well as some original animation work by Tito himself. A testament to the boys’ creativity on and off the board that should get you psyched to take advantage of the last bits of Indian summer at your local shorie.
