As you very well know, we’re not the greatest fans of competitions. The Vans Park Series however, we don’t mind as much. Mainly because the European leg is held in Malmö, and we wholeheartedly love Malmö; especially after our most recent Weekend there. But also because Kroksbäck Skatepark is fucking gnarly and anyone willing to skate in there we salute.

By now you’ve probably heard Oski won the event and what a climax it was. After a pretty gnarly semis – Clay Kreiner in particular, blasting out those nonchalant 540’s – the finals themselves were somewhat subdued with nerves setting in.

And then on the final run Oski came through. That kickflip over the box will stay engraved in my mind for a long time. The catch executed in a Matrix like steez, that split second seemed like ten in realtime. If you’ve yet to watch it check it out below.
