Bleary eyes all round in Lisbon airport. Half the crew had made the 11 hour drive down from France whilst the US contingent had made numerous flights, despite attending Noa’s signature sunny release the night before in full force. Despite then spending 13 hours in the space time continuum that is air travel.

Straight into old town Ericeira with enthusiasm levels at nearly dangerous levels. Straight into a super fun aquamarine beachy with the most perfectly positioned of bars selling ice cold beers for a euro. It was here that the first introduction to the famous Super Bock, henceforth known as Bock was made and from this point there was no turning back. With Noa, Ryan Burch, Willy Aliotti, Alex Bothelo and Gony Zubizarreta lighting up the front then coming in and taking turns for in wetsuit beers (“Can I do this?”– Anonymous) a hell time was had.

William, Alex, Ryan and Noa. The formative years.

William, Alex, Ryan and Noa. The formative years.

We’ve learnt that Ryan really likes surfing (a lot) and is partial to a beer, and so the rest of day was spend in his words “let’s drink a load of beers and watch a load of waves”

We’ve also learnt that Gony really likes Seafood, Noa has a perchant for the infamous Super bock, Anyone on the Volcom payroll for that matter has a perchant for Super bock, Alex’s beach lounging lady friends are insanely attractive and our filmers are burnt to a crisp already.

Stick with us for further updates on the trail of torchery.
