Especially when it features the skateboarding talents of Griffin Gass.
8 years after their previous collaboration Pacific Standard Time, which we still regard as one of the finest skateboarding edits ever made (watch it below if you’ve never seen it), the duo pair up again for Rain Shadow.
A glorious 5 minute skate clip, shot entirely on 16mm in the depths of the Pacific Northwest Winter.
And while Monsieur Ericson and Monsieur Gass will take all the plaudits for their talents both behind and in front of the lens respectively, it’s only fair to mention editor Ben Kaplan who’s exquisite cutting skills are a joy to behold.
