THIS TIME WITHOUT FEELING

Today is a great day, as we’re proud to present“This time without a feeling”—Luca Werner’s upcoming exhibition.

We’re not sure about the first time we got in touch with Luca Werner. We do, on the other hand, remember very well the first time we met Luca in person. It was at the Copenhagen Open in July 2017. He had just climbed a 20-foot fence with a cast on his arm, only to take a few pictures of kids skating around.

We wanted to bring this episode as it tells a lot about Luca’s personality and his passion for photography. One thing that stands out in Luca’s portfolio is that he isn’t scared about confrontation when shooting. Whether it is as physical as getting up in people’s faces, or as psychological as confronting the norm and choosing not to follow it, it’s something quite remarkable for a fresh-faced 20-year-old.

If you picked up an copy of Vol.III before the last copies were gone, you might remember his black and white photo series shot in the street of Taiwan. As soon as we received Luca’s we-transfer in our inbox, we were won over, and it ended up being one of the highlights of the magazine. So when Luca said he was thinking about exhibiting the said series, we got very excited all of a sudden and decided to support the show.

That was a few weeks ago now, and we’re now even more excited and proud to announce « This time without feeling »—Luca’s upcoming exhibition.

We would highly recommend joining us at the Vernissage, on Thursday 20th in Munich. On top of Luca’s photographs will be exibited the work of several other talented artists, namely Lara Eckert, Alina Grasmann, and Janka Zöller. There will be a Piano Concert by Jakob Aumiller, and Luca’s brother—Severin Werner—is going to play some songs on the Guitar. Needless to say that it should be a wonderful affair, hence why we’ll direct you to the Facebook event where you’ll find all the details you need.
